The White Review Short Story Prize Party 2022

We’re inviting you to Reference Point on 15 October, where we’ll announce the winner of this year’s White Review Short Story Prize, sponsored by RCW. You can read the shortlisted stories here.

 

We’ll have short readings from shorlisted writers, followed by drinks in Reference Point’s bookshop and bar space. Issues of THE WHITE REVIEW will be on sale, as well as Reference Point’s unique collection of first editions.

 

Tickets are available through Eventbrite.

 

This year’s judges are Julia Armfield, Ka Bradley, Rosanna Mclauglin and Matt Turner.

 

The White Review Short Story Prize, sponsored by RCW, is an annual short story competition for emerging writers. The prize awards £2,500 to the best piece of short fiction by a writer resident in Britain & Ireland yet to secure a publishing deal.

 

Previous winners of the prize were Claire-Louise Bennett, Ruby Cowling, Owen Booth, Sophie Mackintosh, Nicole Flattery, Kristen Gleason, Julia Armfield, Vanessa Onwuemezi, Elizabeth O’Connor and RZ Baschir.
