On Short Stories

Julia Armfield, Nicole Flattery and Sophie Mackintosh in conversation with Francesca Wade

The Swedenborg Society | Wednesday 10 April | 7pm | £8

Since its foundation in 2011, The White Review Short Story Prize – open to unpublished writers, with an emphasis on work that explores and expands the possibilities of the form – has become an indispensable feature of the literary calendar, discovering exciting new talents who have gone on to great success. In advance of the announcement of the 2019 shortlist, please join us on 10 April for an evening celebrating the short story, featuring three recent winners of the prize. Sophie Mackintosh, Nicole Flattery and Julia Armfield will be in conversation with The White Review co-editor Francesca Wade.

Tickets are £8, and can be purchased through Eventbrite here. If you are on a low income and would like a free ticket, please email editors@thewhitereview.org.
