An Evening of Short Stories, in association with Faber Social

The White Review in association with Faber Social present a night of short stories featuring exceptional talent from both sides of the Atlantic. The evening will take place downstairs at The Social on Little Portland St, London, on Monday 14 April. Doors will open at 7pm, the event will begin at 8pm.

We’re delighted that BEN MARCUS, who we interviewed for The White Review No. 5, will read from his new collection ‘Leaving the Sea’ (Granta). SARAH HALL, winner of the 2013 BBC National Short Story Award supports the publication of ‘Mrs Fox’ (Faber).

JON MCGREGOR will read from his 2013 collection ‘This Isn’t The Sort of Thing That Happens To Someone Like You’ (Bloomsbury). He will be joined by STUART EVERS, whose debut book Ten Stories About Smoking won the London Book Award. ROBERT WILLIAMS, who publishes his new novel ‘Into The Trees’ (Faber) in April, will be writing something new and exclusive for this very evening. Completing the line-up is EVIE WYLD, who published her second novel ‘All The Birds Are Singing’ (Jonathan Cape) in 2013.

Tickets are £6 in advance (£8 on the door) and can be bought by clicking the link above.
