Hoda Barakat
Hoda Barakat was born in Beirut in 1952 and has lived in Paris since 1989. She is the author of six novels, two books of columns, and three plays. Translated into more than fourteen languages, she is the winner of many awards. In 2015, she was shortlisted for Man Booker International Prize for the body of her work.
