ROWAN HISAYO BUCHANAN is the author of the acclaimed novel Harmless Like You. Her short work has appeared in GrantaGuernica, The Guardian, The Harvard Review, and NPR’s Selected Shorts

 

JULIANNE PACHICO was born in England and grew up in Colombia. She is currently completing her PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at UEA. She has two stories in the 2015 anthology of Best British Short Stories. Her short stories have been published by The New Yorker, Lighthouse, Litro, and The White Review, among others.

 

RICHARD O’BRIEN’s pamphlets include The Emmores (Emma Press, 2014) and A Bloody Mess (Valley Press, 2015). His work has featured in Oxford Poetry, Poetry London, and The Salt Book of Younger Poets. His first children’s play, an adaptation of The Selfish Giant, was produced at the Arcola Theatre in December 2016. In 2017, he won an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors.

 

The event will take place amidst the exhibition of SIDNEY NOLAN’s paintings.
